UNICEF ta bayar da tallafin magunguna a Borno don yaƙi da kwalara
Asusun Tallafa wa Ƙananan Yara na Majalisar Ɗinkin Duniya, UNICEF ya bayar da tallafin magunguna na kimanin naira miliyan 100 domin yaƙi da cutar kwalara a Jihar Borno da ambaliyar ruwa ta tagayyara.
Gwamnatin Borno ce ta bayyana hakan yayin miƙa godiyar bisa gagarumin tallafin da UNICEF take bayarwa wajen magance barkewar cutar kwalara a jihar.
An dai sanar da bullar cutar ne a ranar 4 ga Oktoba, 2024, da ta shafi ƙananan hukumomi 5 da suka haɗa da babban birnin Jihar Maiduguri (MMC), Jere, Konduga, Mafa, da Monguno, inda sama da mutane 450 aka samu rahoton kamuwa da cutar.
Wakiliyar asusun na UNICEF a Najeriya, Dokta Rownak Khan, ta bayyana cewa Jihar Borno ta fuskanci ɓullar cutar kwalara tun a shekarar 2009, inda cutar ta sake ɓulla a yanzu.
Ta jaddada cewa UNICEF ta taka rawar gani a kokarin daukar matakin gaggawa, tare da bayar da tallafi mai mahimmanci kamar Wayar da ka jama’a ta hanyoyin sadarwa, inganta tsafta, samar da tsaftataccen ruwan sha, rigakafin kwalara, da kuma ayyukan kula da harkokin kiwon lafiya.
Gudummawar da UNICEF ta bayar ta haɗa da kayan aikin yaƙi da cutar ta kwalara guda 30, gadajen kwantar da masu ɗauke da cutar guda 50, da sauran muhimman abubuwa.
Bugu da ƙari, UNICEF ta tallafa wa wasu ayyuka masu mahimmanci, kamar gina wuraren wanka na gaggawa, kai allurar rigakafi ga makarantu, da inganta tsafta.

Hukumar ta kuma tanadi kayan aiki don gudanar da ayyuka masu mahimmanci, ciki har da daidaita hanyoyin mayar da martanin gaggawa wajen yaƙi da kwalara, da samar da ayyukan kiwon lafiya a sansanonin ’yan gudun hijira.
A jawabinsa, Gwamna Babagana Zulum, wanda ya samu wakilcin mai ba shi shawara na musamman kan harkokin kiwon lafiya, Dokta Abubakar Hassan, ya yaba UNICEF kan taimakon gaggawa da ta bayar wajen daƙile cutar da kuma kula da waɗanda suka kamu.
A cewarsa Gwamnatin Borno ta kuma amince da daɗaɗɗiyar hulɗar aiki mai kyau da UNICEF, wadda ta ɗauki tsawon shekaru goma ana yi.
Gwamnatin jihar ta ba da tabbacin cewa za a yi amfani da wannan gudunmawar cikin adalci don bunƙasa harkokin kiwon lafiya da kuma ceton rayuka musamman ga waɗanda suka harbu da wannan annoba ta kwalara.
A cewar Dokta Rownak Khan, alluran riga-kafin da wasu magunguna wani ɓangare ne na tallafi daga ƙasashen duniya don dakatar da yaɗuwar cutar kwalara, da ake ɗauka a ruwan sha da ta ɓulla a jihar makonni kaɗan bayan ambaliyar ruwan da ta afku.
“Wannan allurar riga-kafi ta ɗigon baki yunƙurin haɗin gwiwa ne tsakanin gwamnati da abokan aiki.
“UNICEF ɗaya daga cikin ƙawaye ne. Muna da sauran abokan hulɗa da su ma sun bayar da gudunmawa sosai don kawo alluran riga-kafin zuwa Najeriya,” a cewar Khan.
Ta ce kyautar ta haɗa da ƙunshin kayan yaƙi da ƙarewar ruwa a jiki da kayan gado na asibiti da darajarsu ta kai dala 69,000.
Ko a watan jiya, UNICEF ta fara miƙa alluran riga-kafin cutar kwalara 300,000 ga Jihar Borno, inda aka fara yi wa mutane da yawa a yankin.
Abubakar Hassan, mai bayar da shawara na musamman ga gwamnan jihar Borno kan kiwon lafiya, ya ce har yanzu ba a samu asarar rayuka ba sakamakon kamuwa da cutar kwalara a jihar.
Mahukunta sun ce ya zuwa 4 ga Oktoba, mutane 128 sun kamu da cutar kwalara a Jihar Borno, daga cikin mutane 451 da aka yi wa gwaji bayan zargin kamuwa da cutar.
Cibiyar Yaƙi da Cututtuka Masu Yaɗuwa ta Najeriya (NCDC) ta ce mutane 359 ne suka mutu sakamakon kwalara daga watan Janairu zuwa Satumban bana.
