Wata kotun sojin Najeriya ta musamman da ke zamanta a Abuja a ranar Talata, 10 ga watan Oktoba, ta yanke wa wani tsohon Manajan Darakta na Nigerian Army Properties Limited, Manjo janar Umar Mohammed, ɗaurin shekaru bakwai a gidan yari bisa samunsa da laifin satar kuɗi dala miliyan 2,178,900 da kuma naira biliyan 1.65 mallakin hukumar sojin Najeriya (NAPL).
Jaridar The Nation ta ruwaito cewa an yankewa Mohammed hukuncin ne bayan kotu ta same shi da laifuka 14 daga cikin tuhume-tuhume 18 da aka gabatar a gaban kotun, kan, almubazzaranci da kuɗaɗe, da kuma haɗa baki da dai sauransu. Sai dai wanda ake zargin a baya ya ƙi amsa laifin da ake tuhumarsa da shi.

A zaman da aka ci gaba a yau inda aka yanke hukunci, kwamitin mutum takwas ƙarƙashin jagorancin Manjo janar James Myam ya bayyana cewa an samu babban hafsan sojan da laifi aka yanke masa hukuncin a cikin tuhume-tuhume 14 cikin 18.
Myam ya ce an gabatar da ƙara na ɗaya a ƙarƙashin sashe na 383(1) na dokar laifuka ta Cap c38 ta tarayyar Najeriya, kuma hukuncin da ya dace a sashi na 390 (7), ya ƙara da cewa an gabatar da tuhumar ne bisa sashe na 114 na dokokin jami’an tsaro. Cap A20 2004.
